Warren Wood, PGA Professional
Warren became Head Professional at Rochester and Cobham Park Golf Club in August 2007 after a distinguished playing career, and having served as Assistant Professional at the club.
Warren played as a junior at the club, winning the club championship on numerous occasions and going on to represent Kent before turning Professional. His playing career saw him compete around Europe in a host of big events. In addition, he spent two years as a caddie on the European Tour to learn about the golf swing and mental approach required at the highest level.
In 2010 Warren graduated from the PGA Training Program and was soon recognised by Foremost Golf, winning their coveted Breakthrough Professional of the Year accolade in 2011.
Warren’s greatest strength is his willingness to listen, and this has seen him develop as one of the finest coaches in Kent. He has coached players at county level and those who have won national and European events and represented their country. Warren is equally at home coaching club golfers of all standards and is passionate about introducing juniors and new players into golf. He prides himself on the fact he is always learning and continuously striving to improve his own performance and the performance of all those around him.
